Did you know being measurably stronger makes life FAR more enjoyable? See why.
THE PROBLEM
You want to be stronger and don’t know how. You’ve spent hours in the gym and have nothing to show for it except time & money you’ll never get back.
OR
You have physical limitations, like low back pain, knee problems, and cannot keep up at home or at work. You are frequently injured or just have nagging pains that just will not go away.
THE SOLUTION
Strength training. Taught efficiently to minimize injury risks and maximize effectiveness.
THE HOW
Enter a Novice Linear Progression. Using a barbell, the most effective tool for building strength, and 4 total-body lifts (squat, overhead press, deadlift, bench press) to become proficient at loaded human movement. We add a little bit of weight each workout for as long as we can. Then we start making minor changes to keep results coming.
THE WHEN
Now. Setup a time below to start changing your life. Your most capable and confident life isn’t that far away. In a month, you’ll wish you started training months ago.
We do not exercise. We train. Exercise is a single bout of physical exertion for it's own sake. With training, we apply a stress, allow the body to recover and adapt, then apply a slightly bigger stress. Rinse, repeat.
Alternate sessions of Squat/Press/Deadlift with Squat/Bench/Deadlift. Rest 48-72 hours in between. Simple, yet extremely effective.
Visualize an aspect of your life that would not benefit from you being stronger. Think about it, try it!
Getting out of a chair with less back or knee pain? Be stronger.
Recreational athlete? Be stronger.
Over/underweight? Be stronger.
A strong person is more effective than a weak one at any age.
JORDAN’S STORY
I spent 10+ years trying to solve two problems: getting rid of low back pain and finding a long term training program.
I was busy running myself into the ground with endurance sports. It wasn’t until I stumbled across this video “Strength as a Back Pain Cure at FiveX3 Training” that spoke to the problems I was experiencing. Could simply getting stronger solve my problems?
I started digging into the program, and found the simplicity appealing. So I told myself “Why wait any longer to see if this works?” After about 3 months of consistent training, getting out of bed, bending down to tie my shoes, and just standing for extended periods of time didn’t hurt anymore.
The relief of the pain not only gave me a lot more confidence back, but also put an end to constant spending money and time on ineffective healthcare. My only regret is not having found this sooner. Now I spend my time learning how far I can push myself, which has been more fun.
ALY’S STORY
I never thought that I would ever enjoy lifting weights. About a year ago Jordan came to me explaining the Starting Strength method and asked if I’d be interested trying it out. It was hard to say no providing how easy it sounded and I wanted to support him. Little did I know I would fall in love. Not only did lifting get my muscles stronger but it strengthened my relationship with my body. Before I was constantly wanting my body to be less: lighter, and skinnier. I figured that I could achieve those goals but it only made me weak and tired then the cycle would repeat. Now with lifting I have a new found respect for my body and what limits I can break through by working hard, eating more and doing what it takes to set new PRs. It has been quite the ongoing journey and one I’d love to help others take.
DUKE’S STORY
I will keep a keen eye on your technique from a safe distance. I primarily work for treats. Approach me slowly and I might let you pet my luxurious fur. I especially love to trot around the neighborhood for my workouts.
STEVE’S STORY
I help you catch your breath the longer you pet me. When I jump into your lap, it’s 100X more difficult to get up. But I’m declawed, so don’t worry about leg punctures. My purr motor is as finely tuned as your squats will become. Duke and I may battle for the red dot laser pointer as well in between sets.
